¡Saludos queridos lectores! Quiero compartir con ustedes mi primera flor en crochet. Estoy bien emocionada porque me gustó mucho el resultado. Mi tía me ayudó, me enseñó con toda la paciencia del mundo a hacer la flor. Fue hecha basándose en las instrucciones dadas por Ana M. Callison. (Si alguien desea recibir copia de las instrucciones favor de escribirme a mi correo electrónico). Está hecha con hilo de lana y le puse un botón en el centro para decorarla. ¡Deseo que les guste! Greetings dear readers! Let me share with you my first crochet flower. I'm excited because I really liked the result. My aunt helped me, taught me with the patience of the world to help me make the flower. Was made based on the instructions given by Ana M. Callison. (If someone wants to receive a copy of the instructions please write to my e-mail). It was made ​​with wool and I put a button in its center for decoration. I wish you like it! Your comments are welcome.

Clases de costura (Sewing classes)

Comenzamos estas vacaciones de verano bien ajetreadas y de forma fructífera. No solamente arreglando la casa sino que comencé a darle unas clases de costura a mis chicas. Las clases que tuve la oportunidad de tomar en Carolina, por Extensión Agrícola de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, las estoy refrescando al pasar tan valiosa información a mis chicas (y a mi mami que también está refrescando). Las bebas están muy contentas y emocionadas al poder usar la máquina de coser y porque tienen sus propias carpetas y materiales. Lo mejor de todo, es que todas salimos ganando y pasamos un excelente tiempo juntas. Ya les estaré compartiendo fotos de los proyectos que hagamos.

We began this summer vacations rather busy and fruitful way. Not only organizing the house but I started to give some classes of sewing my girls. The classes that I had the opportunity to take in Carolina,  from Agricultural Extension, University of Puerto Rico, and I'm passing this valuable information to my girls (and my mom is also refreshing). The girls are very happy and excited to be able to use the sewing machine and they have their own folders and materials. Best of all, we all win from this experience and we had a great time together. I will be sharing photos of projects we do, soon.

Cobertor de papel en telar

Les presento este lindo sombrerito que no es otra cosa que un cobertor de papel (sanitario) que a la vez decora el baño. Está hecho en telar manual de 31 clavijas, utilizando imitación de hilo de lana y el 'fun fur' (o hilo pelú). La flor está realizada en el telar pequeño o "flower loom". Este fue uno de los proyectos que aprendí en las clases que tomé en el Centro Comunal de San José que brinda el Departamento de Educación. 

I present this cute hat that is not nothing but a paper cover (sanitary paper) that also decorate the bathroom. It is made on loom with 31 pins, using yarn and 'fun fur' (or hairy thread).The flower was made in the flower loom. This was one of the projects I learned in the classes I took at the San Jose Community Center provided by the Education Department. 

Clipboard y marcadores (bookmarks)

Me inspiré visitando otros blogs para hacer un clipboard decorado y unos marcadores. Pues como estamos en la primavera utilicé flores y colores vivos. El motivo para los marcadores fue dedicado a los maestros. Espero sinceramente que les guste. 

I got inspired while visiting other blogs to decorated a clipboard and some bookmarks. Since we're on Spring I used flowers and lively colors. The bookmarks are for teachers. I really hope you like it.

Prepare varias tarjetas para celebrar el Dia de las Madres (aunque me voy a reservar a quien le toca cual tarjeta pues no las he entregado aun, shhhh, es sorpresa). La mayoria fueron preparadas basandome en CPS "card sketches". Espero que les guste. Tu comentario sera grandemente apreciado.

I prepared several cards to celebrate Mother's Day (though I'm keeping which belongs to who since I've not given them yet, shhhh, it's a secret).  Most of them were prepared using CPS "card sketches". I really hope you like them. Your comment will be really appreciated.
