Ramitas orientales

Las siguientes ramitas orientales son bastante sencillas de hacer. Se necesitan unas ramitas delgadas y secas, papel color crema y papel fino o "tissue paper" para las hojas. El papel para preparar las flores no debe ser muy duro para que puedan tener una forma suave.

The following oriental branches are simple to prepare. You need some thin and dried branches, "cream" color paper for the flowers (shouldn't be coarse or hard paper) and tissue or thin paper for the leaves.

1. Cortar el papel 2 x 2       Cut the paper 2 x 2 in      

 

2. Doblar el papel lado a lado, los dos lados opuestos, van a quedar 4 cuadrados.

   Fold the paper side by side, both opposite sides, having four squares.

3. Doblar el papel pico a pico, dos veces (los lados opuestos)

    Fold the opposites corners of the paper.

 

4. El papel va a quedar como muestra la imagen. 

    The image shows how will be the paper after the foldings.

5. Luego lo vamos a doblar nuevamente como hicimos en el paso 1 y 2, pero lo vamos a dejar doblado para obtener una cuadrado pequeño.

    Then, fold the paper as in steps 1 and 2, but keeping it folded obtaining a small square.

 

6. Vamos a coger el cuadrito y cortarlo en forma de corazon, cuidado:  las puntas abiertas deben estar en la parte superior.

    Take the small square and cut it in a heart shape, careful: open corners must be facing up.

7. Al  abrir el papel vemos la forma de flor. Marcar con color una que otra esquina y en el medio hacer líneas pequeñas formando un círculo. De esta forma decoramos la flor.

    When the paper is unfolded you may see the flower. Mark with color every other border and make a circle using short lines. See the image with the resulting flower.

8. Poner las flores en la rama utilizando una pega fuerte para que se sostenga, solamente poner pega en el centro de la parte de atrás de la flor. De igual forma pegar las hojas, colocando la pega solamente en la parte inferior de la hoja. Se puede ver en la imagen las ramas decoradas.

    Place the flowers in the branches using a strong craft glue (like hot gun glue), since the glue will be placed in the flower back center. Paste the leaves with the same glue used with the flowers, only placing glue in the bottom of the leaves. The next image shows finished oriental branches.
